About ModulCRM — Why We Build It Modular

ModulCRM is a modular CRM system. You add the modules you need, and you only pay for what you use — instead of buying a bloated suite and hoping the extras matter later.

The modular idea

Every business does not need the same CRM. A coworking operator needs bookings, memberships, and mailroom flows. A gym needs classes and check-in. A clinic needs appointments and consents. ModulCRM starts from a shared CRM module, then layers add-ons — and industry packs — on top.

The idea came from watching how many businesses end up running three or four disconnected tools just to cover contacts, billing, and scheduling — each with its own login, its own version of a customer record, and its own subscription. ModulCRM keeps one record and lets the modules around it grow one at a time, so the platform never gets ahead of what the business actually needs.

It also changes how pricing conversations go. Instead of negotiating a discount on a bundle nobody fully uses, a team can simply not enable the module it does not need yet. That keeps the relationship between cost and value direct: the bill grows because the business is using more of the platform, not because a sales plan required a bigger tier.

Why coworking first

We work in coworking ourselves. That is why the first product line is ModulCRM for coworking: CRM, Invoice, Booking, Subscriptions, and the Coworking module — so operators get tools that match real floor plans, desks, members, and virtual office mail.

Building for our own operation first means every feature in the Coworking module gets tested against a real front desk, real members, and real billing cycles before it ships to anyone else. It also means the roadmap for coworking is shaped by what we run into day to day, not by a feature list assembled from competitor marketing pages.

We expect that discipline to carry over as more industry packs get built. Gym, and whatever comes after it, will go through the same test: does this solve a problem a real operator has today, using the same CRM, Invoice, Booking, and Subscriptions modules already available — or is it just a feature added because a competitor has it.

A small team, building deliberately

ModulCRM is not a large product organization shipping features to hit a roadmap slide. It is a small team that also runs a coworking business, which means every module gets built by people who will use it themselves the next morning. That constraint keeps the scope honest — a feature either solves a real operational problem or it does not make the cut.

It also shapes how we think about support and feedback. Because the team is close to the product day to day, changes requested by early operators and waitlist members can move quickly from a conversation into an actual release, rather than sitting in a backlog behind unrelated enterprise requests.

What we build around

Four principles guide every module we ship, regardless of industry.

Pay for what you enable

If a module is not turned on, it is not on the bill. We would rather earn an upgrade than bundle one in and hope nobody notices.

One record, every module

Contacts, companies, and deals live in the CRM module once. Invoice, Booking, Subscriptions, and every industry pack read and write to that same record instead of keeping their own copy.

Build against real operations first

The Coworking module ships first because we run a coworking business ourselves and can validate every workflow against real desks, members, and mail — not a hypothetical customer.

Depth where it is earned

Basic, Growth, and Enterprise exist so complexity is optional. A module only grows more advanced when the business behind it actually needs that advancement.

What we are building toward

After the coworking launch, more modules and vertical packs follow — Gym, Staff, Maintenance, Website, Newsletter, Sign, KYC/AML, Forms, and others — always with the same rule: enable what you need, pay for that depth, and keep the rest off your bill.

The order of that roadmap is not fixed in stone. Gym is next because it reuses the same CRM, Invoice, Booking, and Subscriptions modules already built for coworking, which makes it the fastest follow-up to ship well. Beyond that, priority goes to whichever add-ons and industry packs the waitlist tells us are most needed — this page, and the modules pages, will update as that roadmap firms up.

Frequently asked questions

Who is building ModulCRM?
ModulCRM is built by a team that also operates a coworking business, which is why the first industry pack targets coworking directly rather than being designed from the outside.
Is ModulCRM available today?
Not yet. The first launch wave — CRM, Invoice, Booking, Subscriptions, and the Coworking pack — is in development. Joining the waitlist is the way to get early access as those modules become ready.
Why build an industry pack instead of a generic CRM only?
A generic CRM covers contacts and pipeline well, but industries like coworking have specific operational needs — floor plans, credits, mailroom, access — that a generic tool never quite fits. Industry packs let ModulCRM stay modular while still solving those specific problems properly.
What comes after Coworking?
Gym is the next planned industry pack, reusing the same CRM, Invoice, Booking, and Subscriptions modules. Additional add-ons and packs are on the longer-term roadmap, prioritized based on demand from waitlist sign-ups.
How do you decide what to build next?
Priority goes to the modules and packs that waitlist members ask for most, weighed against what reuses the existing CRM, Invoice, Booking, and Subscriptions foundation well — so new modules ship faster and stay consistent with the rest of the platform.
